My name is Heather Prophet, and this site represents a sampling of my photography. I tend to be drawn to images of stillness, erosion, and reconstruction, as well as political gatherings where emotions run high. These extremes of apathy and passion fascinate me, as does the contradiction of the two existing simultaneously. Ultimately, my goal as a photographer is to push the viewer to see something they might have otherwise missed.
